Neon Kisses: Boots Spring Make-up Trends

As soon as I delved into my copy of Stylist on the train on Wednesday morning, I got quite excited about the Boots Spring Beauty Trends event I was going to at the Charlotte Street Hotel that night. The front cover beamed the mantra 'Happiness is ... A pair of very bright lips', and as a lipstick junkie, I couldn't agree more.

Bright, bold lips were seen all over the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter 2011 catwalks, from Jil Sanders' punchy pink (pictured above) to Fendi's brilliant orange, lips were the main beauty focus. I predicted I'd see lots of this trend at the Boots event, and I wasn't disappointed. As soon as I walked in I found the 'Casual Glamour' look that was all about making a bright pink lip work day-to-day.
